How we compare cloud gaming services
How we check provider claims, make recommendations and separate published specifications from hands-on testing.

Our current comparisons use published provider information. We check how you get access to games, supported devices and regions, subscription conditions, and any costs we can verify. Each article links to the sources behind its factual claims and shows when those facts were checked.
Recommendations are our judgment about who a service suits. An advertised resolution or frame rate is a provider specification. It isn't evidence that we've achieved it on a particular connection.
We haven't published hands-on latency, queue-time or image-quality results. When we do, each test will state the date, location, provider and plan, server where known, device, controls, app version, connection type, stream settings, games and procedure. We'll describe the sample and any limitations alongside the result.
Calculated examples are labelled with their assumptions. We don't present an estimate as a measured result or copy provider benchmark numbers into an “our testing” table.
If an important fact can't be verified, we leave it unknown and tell the reader what to check. A price in one country doesn't establish the price or availability elsewhere.
